It’s known for its historic homes that were builts in the early 1900s as well as the Lemon Grove Recreation Center. With not much to do within walking distance, the community spends a lot of their time together. An annual potluck is held every fall as well as parties during the holiday season. When residents leave their cozy homes, a quick hop in the car leads them to the city life they’re not particularly used to, but still enjoy for its various restaurants and attractions. The Kind Center absolutely adores Melrose Hill. It’s a hidden treasure with an impressive history that will live on due to its historic preservation. The homes resemble a bungalow type structure and were built during the early 1900s. The location is very ideal as it is close to all of the action happening in bustling Hollywood as well as the diverse neighboring communities. But what we love most about Melrose Hill is the people who call it home. They are friendly, genuine, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

The tree-lined streets are aesthetically pleasing and provide shade from the hot sun. The prominent architecture has made the neighborhood of Melrose Hill a Historic Preservation Overlay Zone.
Lemon Grove Recreation Center
Get active! The Lemon Grove Recreation Center offers sports and after school programs for youths including baseball, softball, basketball, ballet, karate, zumba, and more. The facility also features picnic tables and barbecue pits.

Paramount Pictures in Hollywood has been involved with the production of films since the early 1900s. It is the only major studio still operating in Hollywood. Motion picture and TV enthusiasts are given the opportunity to take a tour of the studio where their favorite movies and shows were created.
The tour lasts about two hours and guests are able to see Bronson Gate, New York Street Backlot, and the Prop Warehouse. And who knows, you might see some well-known actors or producers wandering the lot. It’s an unforgettable experience and a true piece of Hollywood history.
