Little Armenia

Little Armenia is a community located within East Hollywood. It is full of culture, history, and delicious cuisine. The Kind Center team loves serving the friendly people who live there with their cannabis needs whether that be in-store or through our marijuana delivery service.

Marijuana Dispensary in Little Armenia

This community offers quite a lot to East Hollywood and the surrounding areas. Little Armenia is home to over 20,000 Armenian-Americans and other diverse ethnic groups. During a time of turmoil in Armenia, many people fled to Los Angeles and started to build a new life. This area had the largest Armenian community population at one point, but the community has grown into other cities like Glendale, California. Little Armenia is bordered by Hollywood Boulevard, Vermont Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard, and the 101 Freeway. Experience the Armenian culture through the various businesses and restaurants. The Kind Center loves the residents of Little Armenia. Come visit our dispensary or use our marijuana delivery service!

Did you know that Cedars of Lebanon Hospital merged with Mt. Sinai Hospital?

And why is this an interesting fact? Here’s why! Cedars of Lebanon was a hospital that was relocated to the Little Armenia community in the 1930s. Many notable stars were patients there. It was here that actress Judy Garland gave birth to her daughter, Liza Minnelli. Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe received treatment from this hospital.

In the early 1960s, Mt. Sinai hospital merged with Cedars of Lebanon to form what we know as Cedars-Sinai today. The hospital in Little Armenia no longer serves as a hospital. It now belongs to the Church of Scientology and serves as a spiritual center.
